Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components and systems according to technical drawings and specifications. This role requires precision, technical knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical panels, control units, and wiring systems based on schematics and layout drawings.
  • Perform cable routing, crimping, soldering, and terminal connections.
  • Inspect and test electrical assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve wiring and component issues during assembly.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any discrepancies or faults.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve assembly processes.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, following all safety procedures.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in electrical assembly or a similar role.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic understanding of electrical safety standards.
  • Vocational training or diploma in electrical engineering or related field is preferred.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Workshop-based role with occasional lifting and manual handling.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
