The main purpose of this role is to provide adequate product support for a broad range of products, which will enable the customer-facing teams to address customer requirements with a technically viable and commercially competitive solution. Whilst being in this role, you will obtain both market as well as competitive insights within the various vertical markets and applications through your close interaction with the sales teams throughout the entire end-user buying journey.

 

Responsibilities will include support Europe region, pricing analysis, and sales programs management. This position will ensure that all the Whole goods & Aftermarket strategies and programs are in alignment with Sales, Product Management, Engineering and Operations.

Responsibilities:
 

  •  Assist with managing product lifecycle of current product portfolio
  •  Develop seasonal, product focused, and time-limited special sales (if requested) to both build pipeline orders and affect immediate sales.
  •  Recommend stocking and production volumes based on knowledge of markets and commercial insights or sales forecast
  •  Assure communication of the portfolio offerings to internal and external sales channels
  •  Support market intelligence / price analysis for whole goods
  •  Take on additional assignments as needed within the region / PM/ Engineering team that support business and personal developmental needs
  •  Review pipeline with the different sales leaders.
  •  Review and update the price book
  •  Create or update price pages in the different sales systems
  •  Create sales and selection tools
  • Develop tools, papers and libraries which are user-friendly and easy to use
  • Look into continuous process improvement and refine standard work where needed.
  • (Co-)Lead product trainings throughout the sales channel in the region as well as facilitate end-customer specific product trainings
  • In addition, you will contribute as an active member in the NPI (New Product Introduction) process for dedicated growth opportunities within the region.
  • Draft Communication & be the catalyst with marketing team for releasing communication on free stock, promotion, stock liquidation etc.

 

Experience:

  •  3-5+ years working in a business environment, preferably with some manufacturing experience and exposure to lean practices and philosophy is desirable
  •  Prior experience in a product specialist role, manufacturing or marketing is a plus but not required
  •  Industry experience with air compressor systems is a plus

 Qualifications:

  •  A bachelor's or associate's degree in Engineering, marketing, business or related
