Installation Assistant

Assist with the installation of compressed air equipment.

 

Huddersfield – Field based

Working at various sites across the UK and occasionally abroad.

Job Summary

The main responsibility of this role will be to support the Installation Fitter in their day-to-day activities. These activities will include disassembly and removal of redundant pipework, removal of redundant compressed air equipment, positioning of new compressed air pipework and installation of new compressed air system and distribution pipework.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work area housekeeping
  • Setting out and packing-up of work areas
  • Assist Installation Fitter with removal / positioning of compressed air equipment
  • Assist Installation Fitter with installation of compressed air pipework and bracketry

 

Basic Qualifications

  • English speaking & reading (essential)
  • Driving licence (preferred)

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Fully site based with various collections from GD Huddersfield site and local suppliers. Weekend and night time working will be occasionally required. Working away from home, staying in accommodation local to work site will be occasionally required.
