Job Summary
The Mechanical Designer supports the Engineering Department in the creation and management of technical documentation for screw compressors used in biogas applications. The role works closely with design, production, quality, and purchasing teams, requiring proficiency in 2D/3D CAD, solid knowledge of mechanical drawing, and familiarity with industrial components, manufacturing processes, and assembly practices.
Responsibilities
-    Support mechanical designers in creating and updating technical drawings and assemblies using CAD tools. 
-    Perform dimensional checks on machines during assembly and finishing phases. 
-    Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Purchasing to revise drawings, manage specifications, and resolve non-conformities. 
-    Prepare and maintain technical documentation (drawings, BOMs, assembly instructions). 
-    Apply knowledge of mechanical components and manufacturing processes to ensure feasibility and quality. 
-    Manage technical documentation within company systems (PDM/PLM). 
-    Contribute to continuous improvement of products and engineering processes.
Basic Qualifications
•    Preferably some type of technical education, either intermediate or higher level (preferably in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical, or High school Diploma).
•    Languages: English level B2
•    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
•    Familiarity with Solidworks 3D
•    High degree of autonomy, while also capable of working in multidisciplinary teams.
