Job Summary


As our Survey Specialist you will join an experienced team of professionals in the pulp & paper industry. You will be responsible for the paper machine surveys in a global environment with a special focus on vacuum and dewatering audits, also drying section, hood ventilation and heat recovery systems. Your work will involve hands-on assessments directly at our customer premises by measuring needed machine sections. 


Responsibilities

  • Providing the surveys, reports and preliminary project plans including dimensioning and calculations
  • Providing technical & sales support for sales
  • Ensuring good operational and product quality
  • Ensuring the implementation of a harmonized work process
  • Actively participating in the paper making process related trouble shooting activities, start-ups and optimization work in the customer premises
  • Ensuring good environmental health and safety (EHS) culture and a safe working environment
  • Closely following the technology market, industry trends, and competition

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
  • Proven technical knowledge of the paper making process and equipment
  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in engineering and/or production in the pulp & paper industry
  • Willingness for hands-on work on site and in collaboration with customers

 

Travel Requirements
This role requires +100 days of travel globally per year.

  • Ability to travel +100 days per year, typically five days per customer visit
