Job Summary

The Strategic Procurement Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the procurement and sourcing strategy across the Filtration perimeter

The role provides senior procurement leadership across multiple sites, supporting the ongoing transformation of the Filtration business and driving supplier optimization, cost competitiveness, industrial footprint initiatives and strategic sourcing decisions

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the sourcing strategy across the business perimeter.
  • Develop and execute supplier strategies, including supplier consolidation, resourcing and supplier portfolio optimization.
  • Lead strategic supplier negotiations and commercial agreements.
  • Identify and drive cost reduction and productivity opportunities, with focus on materials, manufacturing processes, supplier margins and Total Cost of Ownership.
  • Lead procurement activities related to make-versus-buy and insourcing initiatives.
  • Support and coordinate procurement activities linked to industrial transfers and footprint optimization projects.
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to improve product cost competitiveness and identify alternative technical and sourcing solutions.
  • Drive cross-functional decisions in collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Finance.
  • Ensure effective execution and follow-up of procurement transformation initiatives, with clear ownership of results.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Strategic Procurement / Commodity Management experience
  • Solid exposure to industrial manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost structures
  • Engineering background preferred, or extensive procurement experience within filtration, air treatment, industrial components, OEMs, suppliers or competitors
  • Strong capability to challenge stakeholders, drive decisions and lead change
  • Fluent Italian, Slovenian and English.

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Flexible working with required travel across European Filtration Sites.
