Job Summary

We are currently recruiting a Stores Manager to join our team due to an increase in work, based at our UK stores in Walkden, Manchester.

Working closely with our Customer Service team in Brno, Czech Republic and multiple businesses across the UK, we are looking for a Stores Manager to manage stock within the Manchester warehouse, assist with day-to-day liaison with customers and suppliers, handling enquiries and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.

 

Responsibilities

  • Working with Customer Service team, responsible for goods receipt process, booking stock in and out of our systems and physically relocating stock
  • Arrange shipment of machines to end customers based on shipping notes from Customer Service team, working with Customer Service to ensure deliveries are invoiced accurately
  • Unloading/Loading of deliveries; Operation and maintenance of FLT
  • Delivering/collecting goods using flatbed truck where required
  • Managing stock accurately using SAP system across multiple plants
  • Managing local service stock for alternative plants, ensuring parts are available for engineer collection and managing stock levels accurately
  • Assisting with Stock takes and general upkeep of warehouse
  • Keeping an accurate record of stock e.g Delivery note copies retained, issuing delivery notes for goods to be shipped to customers

 

Basic Qualifications

  • FLT Licence
  • UK Driving Licence
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft software packages; Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Experience with SAP software, specifically for stock management

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

  • Fully site based
  • Permanent role, immediate start date – November 2025
