Job Overview:

In this role, you will act as General Manager of CAG Technologies, which was founded in 1998 and acquired by Ingersoll Rand in 2024, specialized in compressed air, gas, vacuum purification, compressor condensate processing, gas generators and process chillers. You will be a member of North America Air Treatment leadership team and work closely with product management, engineering and operations team to drive business growth & market share expansion in Canada territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual revenue targets and increase market penetration.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales & service team to drive performance excellence, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and objectives.
  • Act as site leader to oversee and monitor daily operations including shipment, warehouse & inventory management.
  • Work closely with production leader to ensure high product quality standards, minimum manufacturing costs and achieve margin target while meeting customer needs and requirements.
  • Identify new business development and growth opportunities, including expansion into new geographic areas, industries and customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners to understand their needs, address concerns, and promote customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with North America Air Treatment product management, engineering demand generation, and local operations teams to enhance product offerings, improve service delivery, and optimize customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress on a weekly basis and drive accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety policies, industry regulations & standards, and learn from best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibition and trade shows to enhance visibility and promote brand awareness.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leader roles, with at least 8-years+ sales leadership experience
  • Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in building, developing, and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans that align with overall business objectives.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, market research, and sales forecasting.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Strong business acumen with a customer-centric approach and a commitment to ethical conduct.
  • Travel across designated sales territories to collaborate with local sales teams, gain insights into customer needs, and drive the development of innovative solutions.

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements 

  • Fully site based, 25% travel across North America
