Position Overview

The PAO Assembly – Rotary Intern will support continuous improvement efforts within a high-mix, low-volume assembly environment. This role will focus on improving assembly efficiency across multiple assembly lines, with primary emphasis on strategic areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current-state assembly processes
• Apply Lean methodologies to identify waste and process inefficiencies
• Develop and evaluate improvement ideas related to:
• Material presentation
• Layout and workstation design
• Tooling
• Work content
• Assist with implementation of approved improvements
• Participate in post-implementation audits to verify results

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Industrial Relations, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Interest in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
