Position summary

Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager, the Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for the entity’s accounts receivable activities. The role ensures that transactions are recorded correctly, customer payments are posted, accounts are reconciled and outstanding balances are monitored in accordance with accounting rules, internal procedures and closing deadlines.

 

Key responsibilities

• Check and ensure the correct recording of invoices and credit notes.

• Record and allocate customer payments in the ERP system.

• Reconcile, analyse and justify customer accounts.

• Monitor the aged receivables report, outstanding balances and overdue payments.

• Follow up with customers by telephone and e-mail in a professional and diplomatic manner.

• Identify and monitor disputes in coordination with the Sales teams, Sales Administration and the relevant departments.

• Support monthly and annual closing activities by preparing entries, analyses and supporting documentation, particularly in BlackLine.

• Contribute to the monitoring of doubtful receivables, respond to audit requests and support the continuous improvement of departmental processes.

 

Required qualifications

• Accounting qualification and proven experience in accounts receivable.

• Good knowledge of account reconciliation, outstanding balance monitoring and debt collection.

• Experience using an ERP system.

• Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel.

• Basic professional English.

• Confident telephone communication skills.

 

Travel and working arrangements

This position is based at the Moissy-Cramayel site. Any travel will be occasional and related to the requirements of the role.
