Job Summary

This role will be working across multi-brand compressor products (Ingersoll Rand / Compair / Gardner Denver / Champion) through our distribution channel for the region, aiming for growth and margin expansion. This role will be responsible for achieving profitable growth and sales objectives (volume, net sales and gross margin) consistent with Ingersoll Rand's vision, strategic objectives and policies within the assigned geographic region.

In this role, you are fully responsible for the sales of compressed air solutions, including equipment and services, in your geographic region. You will also need to identify new sales opportunities, market new products and develop sales in new applications via distribution channels.

 

 

Responsibilities

· Lead and develop a technical and commercial skilled sales team to achieve the sales and margin budget for the different brands across our distribution channel.

· Visit key customers as well as potential customers, find and develop new opportunities to increase our market share in our key strategic vertical markets

· Develop an understanding of the products and services and the different applications for industrial markets. 

· Effectively manage the sales team activity, including review of pipeline of opportunities, produce accurate forecasts, keep track of visits, and actively manage installed base of compressors and downstream equipment installed in the region to maximize the aftermarket business and ensure the highest customer satisfaction

· Develop a thorough grasp of the market, including customer needs, competitors, trends, impact of local legislation

· Provide accurate forecast on a regular basis to senior management (CRM update, reporting, etc.)

· Organise technical training for distributors, negotiate distribution contracts, and ensure transversal management with the orders department to guarantee the delivery of equipment to the export zone.

 

 

Basic Qualifications

· The job requires knowledge of bac +5 level in engineering, economics, marketing or other areas of P&L management

· Fluent in English

· Driving Licence

 

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Regular travel across the region.
