Job Summary:

To implement and drive business growth in assigned sales territory.  Maintains effective communications with senior management to ensure maximum sensitivity to the needs of the field sales force.

 

Job Location - Bangalore / Mumbai

 

Responsibilities

  • To achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Build customer relationships at all levels and establish rapport with existing and potential customers through regular calls or visits, acting as the first point of contact.
  • Identify the Potential OEM in the assigned territory and extend reach to all potential OEMs.
  • Business growth with existing OEMs
  • Provide customers information about THOMAS products and capabilities, conduct application/product presentations and demonstrations as well as provide pre/post sales technical advice.
  • Key Account management in all aspects for short & Long term strategic activities plan & execution and executes pricing actions.
  • Achieve sales targets and increase sales volume by implementing business strategies to expand existing markets, generate new leads and penetrate new markets in allocated regions.
  • Prepare customer proposals and quotations, negotiate pricing and contract terms to meet both customer and company needs.
  • Conduct market research and feedback to management competitive activity and general market intelligence which includes industry trends and relevant information on emerging technologies and latest developments in the region of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop applications and/or customization to meet customers’ specifications and resolve customer issues.
  • Regularly update CRM (SalesForce)
  • Other job-related duties as required.
  • Travel : 70%

 

Skills Required

  • Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering. Management degree advantage.
  • 7-10 year’s relevant experience in OEM Sales
  • Knowledge of Gas and/or liquid pumps
  • Self-motivator and self-starter
  • Result oriented
  • Proficient in MS Office : MS-Word , MS excel , MS acc
  • Good level of English, Regional language (speaking and writing)
