Job Summary

We have an open vacancy for a Sales Manager at UAP Manchester, to develop the business relationships with the existing accounts and to seek out and develop new target accounts within the geographical area of the territory, and to increase sales penetration across the range of compressed air solutions we offer.    

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve short-, medium- and longer-term budgeted sales and margin.
  • Manage and develop Equipment sales.
  • Maintain an updated knowledge of competitor activity and plans, taking action and making recommendations as necessary.
  • Manage the commercial position of the Company in its market, taking a balanced view of market share growth and margin improvement.
  • Manage pricing and negotiate prices for new business within set parameters to achieve budgets and Company plans.
  • Manage costs to achieve budgeted levels.
  • Represent the company with customers and elsewhere as needed, making visits as necessary.
  • Assist in the development of the annual sales target.
  • Responsible for administration activities such as quotation logs and systems.
  • Report on activities as necessary.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Technical qualification in mechanical or Electrical Engineering and/or in business or sales related area are preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Driving Licence.

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Remote working with travel between various customers and branches within the UAP Group.
