Job Summary:
This is an Inside Sales position based out of the Upper Midwest Area. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in our sales and rental operations, ensuring the seamless execution of sales orders, service contract agreements, progress payments, and rental management. Your dedication to providing exceptional support will be instrumental in our success. 

Responsibilities:

Sales Support:

  • Act as the primary customer contact, assisting throughout the sales process, from inquiry to delivery.
  • Manage equipment orders, ensuring efficient processing and compliance with company policies.
  • Keep customers informed of order status updates and any relevant changes, working closely with the sales team to provide seamless communication.
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotes for customers, considering pricing, terms, and product availability.
  • Set up and register newly sold service contracts for customers, ensuring all terms and obligations are clearly defined and documented before passing to the service team.
  • Administratively set up and manage progress payment schedules for orders, ensuring accurate reconciliation and timely invoicing in accordance with contractual terms.
  • Prepare sales reports, activity reports, presentations, and research as required.

Rental Coordination:

  • Develop and execute the Area plan to drive rental revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle incoming rental solution requests from customers and the sales team, providing prompt and accurate rental equipment information.
  • Create rental contracts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Coordinate logistics, including rental asset dispatch, returns, and asset transfers.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize the rental fleet, ensuring availability, maintenance, and peak performance of rental equipment.
  • Forecast rental revenue and manage rental invoicing, payables, and asset reconciliation.
  • Maintain rental equipment records, including usage, availability, and maintenance schedules.
  • Gather market intelligence about competitive compressed air rental agencies.

General Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift within compliance, when needed.
  • Manage inventory, including receiving stock parts and equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and coordinating equipment returns as necessary.
  • Contribute to Operational Excellence by identifying opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the Inside Sales team.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records for paperwork, purchase orders, and contracts.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and service, to ensure a seamless customer experience. Mentor and share best practices with team members, ensuring a high level of proficiency and collaboration.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • Technical background highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service focus with the ability to understand customer needs, solve problems, and respond efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage time and multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required; the ability to navigate internal software programs will be necessary after hire.
  • Experience with Salesforce, CRM, and Oracle is a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and effectively communicate with others. The employee frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and climb or balance. (Forklift mounting and operation) The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  This position works in a typical parts store/warehouse environment.
