 Job Summary:

Ingersoll Rand is seaching for a professional to enhance IR Parma Quality Management  System focusing on  organizational efficiency and effectiveness with usage Continuous Improvement initiatives and Lean approach . Candidate  will play a vital role  in identifying areas for improvement in Operation under umbrela of Quality Management System,  analyzing processes and developing strategy to optimize workflow and eliminate waste, along with safeguarding the quality of  the products and assuring satifcation of all  customers. Candidate will work across various departments to foster  Quality and Lean culture . She/he will drive the strategic targets  and  Quality goals to  improve  Cost of Poor Quality and Customer satifaction and product quality according to the pillars of ISO EN 9001:2015 standard  with focus on production risk management, change management and  extended sustainability

 

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Management and maintenance of the quality management system according to the requirements of EN ISO 9001:2015 and other applicable statutory standards and regulations.
  • Ensure Effective Management of Quality  System  including all mandatory requiremets   - Internal Audits planning and execution, Product Audits and product validation, Quality Planning – Risk Management, Top Management review and Prevention and manage records .  
  • Represent Plant  Top management in the role of "Top Management Representative for Quality" and profile him/herself as organisation Change Agent.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies and Lean initiatives in the Ingersoll Rand site of Parma, factually cascading IR core guidelines in daily standard works, starting by consistent performance and developement goals setting through corporate portal and related toools
  • Foster a Quality  culture and Continuous improvement approach throughout the organization, with regular (at least quartely) information and best practice sharing session with other sites in EMEIA region (or outside when convenient)
  • Identify and prioritize process improvement projects based on business goals, creating project charter for each key programm / project with clear team definition with selection of right  competences and ownership and direct lead to  deliver milestones  per IRX (Ingersoll Rand Excutive Excellence) standard works
  • Lead cross-functional teams in day by day routine to streamline workflows, improve organisation Quality Maturity  and eliminate inefficiencies, identifying and analyzing process improvement opportunities, by planned documented approach to upgrade  processes settled in the past, finalization of temporarz drafted in the past and constant addition of new processes triggered by business and organization enhancement and requirements . Directly updates and shares the tools that provides visibility to all Intersted Parties  of action plans, assure gowernance to  achieved goals and  targets.  Track the progress through IRX (Ingersoll Rand Excutive Excellence) standard works
  • Daily provide gowernance to   correct , regular execution of SQDIP driven activities, extending the methodolgy where missing . Assure  leading 2nd level weekly reviews with due procedural discipline and compliance to the  targets. Track the progress through IRX (Ingersoll Rand Excutive Excellence) standard works.
  • Conduct data analysis, measure performance metrics,  - KPI’s and periodical reviews reports to  EMEIA Quality Leadership with  discipline and adding calibration and extention to specific business and site needs with full traceability in IRX (Ingersoll Rand Excutive Excellence) standard works.
  • Directly lead periodical external audit to suppliers as driven by ISO 9001:2015 directive. Asssure Supplier Management and evaluation with all IR Intersted parties (managers, audited Supplier , Corporate functions .  Directly update records of audit reports, share with site All with Site  management. Directly conduct qualification audit requested by clients, consolidating / updating records of frequently asked questions / information and leading live audit sessions
  • Plan yearly (at least two) workshops and training sessions on continuous improvement methodologies, involving site management and extended team by area of competence.
  • Tigger and report on the progress of improvement projects, with extended usage of IRX (Ingersoll Rand Excutive Excellence) and related standard work tools such as but not limited to  Policy Deployment review and Impact Daily Management.
  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies.
  • Effectively Lead direct report(s) team

 

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality or a related field
  • Min. 5 years of experience in quality management in a senior management position.
  • Experience: Proven experience in continuous improvement roles and quality system management rolses, best if in multinational corporate or at least in medium-large size company, preferrably in manufacturing sectors (mechanical manufacturing representing a very nice to have backgorund).
  • Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, project management culture.
  • Improvement Methodologies: Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies. Prefered  - Green Belt Certified
  • Project Management: Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Leadership: Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Collaborative: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams .
  • Data Analysis: Data-driven mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Change Management: Change management expertise.
  • Continiuous Learning: Continuous learning and staying updated on industry best practices.
  • Comunication: public speaking familiarity, comfortably presenting live or in conference call to restricted and extended audience, both with basic or deep competence backgorund.
  • Certified qualification – ISO 9001 CQA 1st level (internal auditor and QMS Manager) as must have qualification; 2nd level (2nd party partners auditor)
  • Language: mother toungue or alike Italian, fluent spoken and written English.
  • IT: MS Office pack (medium - deep Excel expertise), ERP familiarity (SAP very nice to have)
  • LOCATION: IR site of Parma as pivotal location, avaialability to travel to other IR sites on quarterly basis
