Job Summary

The Site Leader defines the overall strategy of the company in connection with the group’s one.

He/she ensures implementation by coordinating all the company’s activities and capabilities. He/she defines the main indicators and ensures their monitoring.

 

Responsibilities

Definition of the company’s overall strategy

  • Building a coordinated approach to the growth strategy of customer expansion, global expansion, product expansion and segment expansion
  • Definition of the company’s vision
  • Definition of the means to be implemented to achieve the vision
  • Definition of budgets
  • Definition of company indicators

 

Communication, control and monitoring of the implementation of the strategy

Responsible for all P&L operations and product operations within the scope of responsibility including manufacturing, purchasing and logistics, quality and engineering

Coordination of execution within each service, supervising managers to build an efficient team and establish a good working atmosphere 

Participation in the global management actions of the Group for Milton Roy Europe

Continuous improvement - The Site Leader defines continuous improvement objectives, communicates these objectives to all employees, defines the means to be implemented and ensures that the objectives are achieved.

EHS - The Site Leader defines the quality and EHS policy and is responsible for implementing the risk reduction policy on the site. He/she ensures that all means are implemented to achieve the goal of zero accidents on the site and compliance with environmental regulations.

 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Engineering degree with technical experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience in successful industrial management.
  • Relevant transversal management knowledge.
  • Fluent in french and English.

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

  • Occasional trips - Ability and willingness to travel, as needed.

Key Competencies 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of key financial metrics: gross margin, OI, etc., including strong financial/budget management skills
  • Strong project management skills, solid analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability, and willingness, to transition between strategic and tactical lenses.
  • Situational judgment and decision-making
  • Comfortable in working with shared leadership and in cross-functional multi-cultural teams
