Job Summary

The Inside Sales Junior Engineer performs key backoffice and insidesales activities within the European Center of Excellence (CoE). The role ensures accurate and timely quotation and order processing, provides technical and commercial support to customers across EMEA, and contributes to consistently high customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and standardized CoE processes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional technical and commercial support to customers across the EMEA region from an office-based environment.
  • Communicate proactively with customers via phone, email, and digital channels to support ongoing customer management.
  • Act as an internal coordination point between Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, and headquarters functions.
  • Prepare, review, and track quotations for pumps, systems, and spare parts using designated configuration and pricing tools (e.g., Konfigurator, Quote Management Tool).
  • Enter and validate customer orders with high accuracy in ERP/CRM systems.
  • Verify pricing, delivery terms, technical documentation, certificates, and contractual requirements before order release.
  • Work closely with the local office team, headquarters in Bottrop, and field sales colleagues across EMEA. Operate as an integrated member of the CoE team and contribute to a standardized European back-office model. Support continuous process improvement and documentation updates within the CoE.
  • Participate in internal and external training workshops, including development sessions at headquarters.
  • Provide customer service support for inquiries related to spare parts, service interventions, and basic after sales topics across the EMEA region.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Completed technical education or graduation approaching, thesis in progress (e.g., Bachelor’s degree or a comparable technical field).
  • First practical experience in technical customer support, sales, or application engineering — internships or working student experience also welcome.
  • Basic technical understanding
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems (SAP, MS Dynamics, Oracle, or similar).
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation, product specifications, and configuration parameters.
  • Experience in quotation preparation, pricing, or basic commercial processes is an advantage.

Fully site based, flexible working hours

 

Key Competencies

  • Strong skills in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook) and comfortable leveraging AI‑based tools.
  • Very good English skills (written and spoken) required for EMEA customer support.
  • Polish written and spoken
  • Additional language skills (e.g. German, French, Spanish, Italian) are an advantage.

Salary Range

6 275 – 10 300 PLN Gross
