Job Summary
This position will be responsible for all the post order ETO project engineering activities of NASH Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump & compressor and Blowers. Also to support other Products/Europe/other global customers wherever required.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all the NASH project engineering activities for India & Middle East region (For Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump/Compressor/Blowers). Also to support Europe/other global customers wherever required.
- Lead and manage the engineering & design team to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.
- Leading the engineering and design team and will be responsible for handling all the post order Engineering activities till installation and commissioning of packages at site.
- Monitor & control the engineering and design activities completion including customer approvals within the project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Responsible for detailed study of client’s specification/project specifications, job specific requirements, process datasheets, PFD, PID, API specification etc and ensure compliance during the project execution.
- Monitor, review and control the Technical RFQ’s/MR’s/PR’s based on the technical offer, customer specification, based on the system requirement & releasing to the purchase department for obtaining the offers. Review of supplier/vendor technical offers, post-order documents & providing necessary approval for procurement & manufacturing.
- Monitor, review and control the post-order detailed engineering activities, which include all documents preparation & getting required customer approvals for the documentation while maintaining the project margins and timelines to avoid any LD’s and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in the Hazop/SIL study, 3D modelling reviews etc. during the project execution & getting necessary approval from the customer.
- Implementation of best engineering practices during the package design.
- Visiting to customer place for technical discussion(s) to conclude the queries/challenges/mis-alignment during the project execution for getting necessary approvals to move ahead in line with the CDD.
- Visiting to supplier(s) place for the critical bought-out component’s engineering discussions & closure.
- Resolve technical issues during execution and performance testing and provide guidance on complex design challenges.
- Support other functions like Sales, Application, Projects, Operations, QA/QC, Service & Product development.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities & support on i2V engineer related activities.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, industry standards, Codes and regulations.
- 10+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously is mandatory.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless engineering and Design integration.
- Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Identify and implement improvements in design processes and tools.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Key Competencies
- In Depth knowledge and Experience in complex Pump and compressor packages engineering and design.
- Proficiency in design software(s) such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, SolidWorks, design tools.
- Experience handling major Customers/EPC/LSTK/PMC in Oil & Gas, Power and Chemical industry.
- Proven track record of leading successful engineering and design team as a leader.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in chemical/mechanical engineering with more than 12 years of experience in Complex packaging/skid mounted system engineering and design for Rotary equipment’s.
Total Experience required: Approx. 12-17 Years in relevant field.
Candidates who have detailed knowledge on process, PFD, P&ID, API specifications and experience in core project engineering of rotating packages.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements: Fully office based, 25% travel across India.
