Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR support in the areas of employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training and development, and other related functions. The HR Generalist will have a strong knowledge of Quebec laws, and be able to communicate fluently in both French and English.
Contract Duration: This is a maternity leave replacement temporary contract of 12 months. Please only apply if you are interested in joining a great organization for a one-year temporary contract. We will offer medical insurance benefits.
Reports to: HR Manager
Work location: Saint Bruno, Quebec
Work Mode: Hybrid work mode with presence at the office and work from home on some days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide HR support in the areas of employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training and development, and other related functions
- Manage recruitment efforts, including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers
- Support of the application of HR policies and programs
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefits-related questions
- Provide support to managers in the areas of performance management and employee development
- Assist with payroll processing for employees in Quebec
- Support employees based in the United States.
- Assist with other HR-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in an HR Generalist role
- Quebec payroll processing experience (strong asset, but not required)
- Strong knowledge of Quebec labor laws and regulations
- Bilingual in French and English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Le candidat retenu travaillera en étroite collaboration avec le directeur des ressources humaines pour fournir un soutien RH complet et efficace à notre entreprise.
Responsabilités clés :
- Gérer toutes les tâches de recrutement, de la publication des offres d'emploi à l'organisation des entretiens.
- Conseiller les gestionnaires sur les politiques et les procédures RH.
- Administrer les programmes de formation et de développement des employés.
- Répondre aux demandes de renseignements des employés et résoudre les problèmes liés à l'emploi.
- Gérer les dossiers des employés et assurer leur exactitude et leur confidentialité.
- Aider à traiter la paie au Québec
- Assurer la conformité aux lois et réglementations du travail du Québec.
Qualifications et compétences :
- Diplôme universitaire en ressources humaines ou dans un domaine connexe.
- 5 à 7 ans d'expérience en généraliste en ressources humaines.
- Connaissance approfondie des lois et réglementations du travail du Québec.
- Compétences bilingues en français et en anglais.
- Solides compétences en communication et en résolution de problèmes.
- Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et à gérer plusieurs projets simultanément.
- Bonne connaissance de la suite Microsoft Office.
- Grande attention aux détails et sens de l'organisation.
