Job Overview:

Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, Life Sciences, this position will provide high quality HR support and coaching for Ingersoll Rand’s ILC Dover, Life Sciences. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our HR Business Partner team to drive strategic HR initiatives, supporting both salaried employees and senior leadership. You will play a key role in shaping the employee experience and will have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects. Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations:  
    • Works closely with leadership, HR Business Partners and employees to improve work relationships, build positive engagement, and increase productivity and retention 
    • Acts as employee advocate through effective employee relations 
    • Creates positive change through coaching, counseling, and influencing skills 
    • Monitors employee climate to identify issues/trends/opportunities, proposing solutions/changes, where needed 
    • Drives and enables cultural transformation to support an employee ownership mentality 
    • Counsels’ management and employees regarding policies and procedures  
    • Provides guidance and participation in performance improvement processes as well as employee issues, concerns or complaints 
  • Effectively partner with leaders to drive positive, business impacting change, aligning human resources programs and initiatives with strategic objectives and operating plans.
  • Serve as a credible coach and confidante to these leadership teams, as well as a strong employee advocate.
    • Assists employees with benefits issues, annual open enrollment process, wellness on-site annual screenings 
  • Develop and execute HR plans, processes, and programs aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management / talent acquisition, goal alignment, employee engagement and communications for responsible sites.
  • Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition colleagues to attract, hire and onboard the best candidates as efficiently and effectively as possible.
  • Collaborate with other HR colleagues on sharing best practices and increasing the development and use of HR standard work.
  • HRIS: Maintains Success Factors Human Resources Information System employee database, files, and payroll. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years’ experience in a progressive HR environment.
  • Fluent in French & English

  • Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to work independently to prioritize and pivot to meet the changing needs of the organization and collaborate effectively within HR and business teams.  
  • Demonstrated success in creating an environment of trust with business partners where integrity is unquestioned.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with Site Leaders, HRBPs and HR Shared Services teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills.

Preferences:

  • Knowledge of relevant local employment laws.
  • PHR / SPHR certification.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements 

  • This position will be based at our site in Rossens Switzerland, with anticipated travel to the Hazel Grove site.
