Your Job

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CTO Project Manager / Project Engineer to join our Engineering team by Elmo Rietschle in Schopfheim. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and managing customer-specific system configurations by combining standardized vacuum pumps into tailored system solutions. Operating in a Configured-To-Order (CTO) environment, you will work at the interface of engineering, product management, sales, and production to ensure that each system meets the technical and functional requirements of the customer.

You will coordinate the design, customization, and delivery of vacuum systems that meet unique application needs across industries.

 

Responsibilities

  • Customer requirements analysis from technical and economic point of view, including reading of P&IDs, electrical diagrams, GAD/detail drawings and any other specification
  • Feasibility analysis, cost analysis
  • Design support of the sold product including research and choice of key components such as measuring devices, filtration, pneumatic components
  • Drafting control panel main specifications and control logic defining
  • Drafting of P&ID relating to the project offered
  • Projects planning/ execution/ troubleshooting/ progress/ costs controlling.
  • Analysis of incoming and outgoing documentation, drafting of technical documentation
  • Product certification support
  • FAT, SAT, commissioning by customers if required
  • Post market support/ troubleshooting/ warranties

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree Mechanical or Electronic Engineering are preferred or other related degrees or tech. diploma.
  • Deep understanding of thermodynamics is an advantage
  • Strong projects management skill, ability to assign priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly developed proficiency in MS Office Suite and 2D/3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
  • Proactive and team working style.
  • Able to work in English.
  • Willingness to travel
