Product Manager, Aftermarket and Recurring Revenue

Job Responsibilities:

  • Customer and Market Data-based Aftermarket Strategy & Planning: 
    • Conduct install base & customer data analytics, e.g., customer connectivity, share of entitlement, service contract penetrations, customer segmentations, customer value identifications, key data insights across the customer journey etc. to identify the growth opportunities.
    • Market and customer value analysis: Conduct both regular and project-based market, customer and aftermarket competitive landscape analysis, generate market and customer insights, unmet needs, opportunities, etc.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive aftermarket strategies aligned with business goals, including new product (tangible and intangible) development and portfolio management. 
  • New Service Offering (Product) Development:
    • Recurring Revenue Acceleration: Developing localized programs to drive sustainable recurring revenue (e.g., service contracts, subscription services, long term rental, etc.) growth to increase customer stickiness and long-term loyalty.
    • Drive Overhauling/Remanufacturing Business Growth: Identify emerging opportunities and craft innovative growth strategies tailed to local enhanced service capabilities.
    • Parts, Kits and Other Service offering development/launch/ commercialization: Lead the development of new aftermarket offerings, e.g., Parts, Lubricants, Kits, Unique designed Parts offerings, etc. including product launch and commercialization.
  • Daily Product Support:
    • Daily product support: Work closely with the sales team to provide aftermarket product knowledge, technical expertise, and sales support to drive aftermarket sales.
    • Training and sales tool: Develop product presentations, and training materials, sales tools to enhance the sales team's effectiveness in executing aftermarket products and services.
  • Pricing Strategy:
    • Pricing management: Conduct regular pricing analysis. Develop and implement aftermarket pricing strategies that optimize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
    • Daily pricing support: Provide daily support to the sales team on pricing inquiries, negotiations, and special pricing requests, ensuring consistency with company pricing policies.
    • Price data management: Utilize ERP/CRM systems to manage aftermarket product data, part numbers, and price lists.
  • Deliver Overall Business Goal: collaborate and execute with the country’s commercial team to deliver and meet the overall business goals in terms of growth, margin, customer connectivity, etc.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ working experiences in Aftermarket & Service, Product management, Technical supports, Engineering, Industrial Digitalization, Data Analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving business growth in the aftermarket space. 
  • Sound working records in leading industrial companies.
  • Master of Languages: English (mandatory); another regional language is a plus
  • Travel: 20-30%
  • Analytical & Data Skills:
    • Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and organize data from various sources to drive strategic decisions.
    • Strong experience in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, along with data analytical, and database skills, e.g., Tableau,. Qlik, Alteryx, etc.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence and inspire
  • Ability to solve problems, handle complex issues and cross-functional projects.
  • Business acumen, a strong understanding of business functions, market dynamics, and financial implications.
  • Growth and business driven mindset, willingness to learn, to execute down-to-earth, to adapt and to grow together with a team
  • Be adaptive, and able to manage stress well and be resilient.
