Project Engineer shall manage end-to-end Project activities which support sales team to achieve and deliver overall business targets in both revenue and margin growth.

He / She will work closely with sales and project team to evaluate project opportunities, submit project proposal and tendering with optimum Product offer and all the necessary documentation.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Tendering and solutioning, working closely with Sales team to secure projects
  • Project drafting, planning, scheduling, execution, documentation and proper handing over to service for DLP
  • Revenue forecasting and revenue recognition
  • Work closely with Order Management team and Service team  for revenue recognition and invoicing
  • Manage customers, contractors, sub-contractor, vendors and suppliers during project phase, including replying technical queries and clarifying matters pertaining to the Tender Offer 
  • Responsible for variation orders to increase contract value and work closely with sales team to secure VO
  • Prepare tender proposal including concept drawing, simple control philosophy and general layout of the system for the Sales
  • Review Technical Specification and Drawing upon receiving the Purchase Order (PO)
  • Evaluate Tender Drawing such as Architectural & structural drawing, System P&ID, Single Line Drawing 
  • Design and submit construction documents and drawings for approval
  • Monitor the performance of the site team to ensure all critical milestones are met 
  • Develop mitigation plan if the site progress is behind schedule or critical path are not met 
  • Attend site progress meeting to report progress and coordinate with other services to minimize rework due to service collision  

 

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics with minimum 3 years of experience in project engineering or project management.
  • Past working experience with EPC, contractors, tendering/bid management.
  • Knowledge of Autocad or equivalent design software experience is a must.
  • Knowledge in air compressor is an advantage. 
  • Committed and is able to collaborate effectively with the team to successfully accomplish the project.
