Aerodynamic Engineer

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Develop/Improve major components of centrifugal compressors like wheels and housings for both aerodynamic design and mechanical design.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Leading products from design to production process by following product development process
  2. Support to solve related product launch and field issues.
  3. Provide aero support to other groups.
  4. Carry out CFD analyses of flows in compressors, and associated components
  5. Carry out compressor performance predictions

 

Qualifications:

  1. Industrial/research experiences at least 3 years on turbomachinery or aerodynamics related field
  2. Familiar with 1D design/blade design code such as NREC BladeGen etc.
  3. Familiar with CFD/FEA code such as NUMECA, CFX, ICEM CFD, ANSYS FEA etc. familiar with optimization tool is plus.
  4. University graduate major at turbomachinery or aerodynamics-related subject, post-graduate degree above is preferred
  5. PC skills are required especially Microsoft Office
  6. The ability to apply the knowledge to solve practical engineering problems is critical.
  7. Good communicator in oral and writing by English and mandarin.
  8. Passionate and engaged to drive action into a valid solution
  9. Good Team player
