- Be Technically responsible for SE team (Rotary or Centrifugal Technology), includes but not limited:
1) Technical roadmap for Rotary and Centrifugal
2) Attend key technical milestone, including concept design, IDR review, design reviews for critical subsystems, etc.
3) Provide support and coach to system engineers, especially when the project runs into technical roadblocks
4) Support ETSS director for budgeting plan, spending control for MLB projects
- Responsible for Project QDC, serving as the Lead Engineer
- Working Efficiency Improvement -
1) Rise up and support SE Operation Manager for Process Improvement
2) Implement the plan for standard work, engineering excellence work/tools
- Accountable for rotary and centrifugal technology-related patent, v-idea and ER, including internal/committee review
- Support System Engineer Operation Manager for SE's PMP setup and assessment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Fluid Machinery, Thermal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in centrifugal compressors, blowers, vacuum products, or turbomachinery development.
- Strong knowledge of centrifugal aerodynamics, performance maps, surge, choke, efficiency, and system matching.
- Experience in system requirements, product architecture, interface management, and system integration.
- Skilled in product selection, performance analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Good knowledge of impellers, diffusers, bearings, seals, motors, cooling, and control systems.
- Experience in NPD, design reviews, risk assessment, and product validation.
- Strong technical leadership and ability to lead decisions, guide engineers, and align cross-functional teams.
- Good written and spoken English; Creo and Windchill experience is preferred.
