Position: Pricing Supervisor, ITS Asia Pacific, Ingersoll rand

Job Overview

We are seeking a Pricing Supervisor to in charge of pricing management role for Industrial Technologies and Services in the Asia Pacific region. This position is reported to Demand Generation and Pricing Director, ITS AP.

Job Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy & Analysis

  • Value Pricing​ & Pricing Strategy Development​: Develop and recommend pricing strategies that maximize profitability and market competitiveness, with a focus on value-based pricing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. Conduct detailed market analysis if needed.
  • Data Analysis​: Analyze pricing data, sales performance, and customer insights to identify trends and opportunities. Utilize statistical tools and modeling techniques to support pricing strategy development.
  • Competitor Analysis​: Monitor competitor pricing strategies and adjust tactics accordingly. Conduct competitive benchmarking to inform pricing decisions.
  • ​List price & Price Optimization​: Develop pricing models and algorithms to optimize pricing decisions. Implement dynamic pricing strategies based on real-time market data and customer behavior.
  • Price Performance Monitoring​: Track and analyze the performance of pricing strategies. Prepare regular reports and present findings to management.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Participate in pricing-related project support and internal audits.
    • Collect and analyze market intelligence to inform pricing strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure effective implementation of pricing strategies. Provide guidance and support for sales teams.
  • Stay updated on the latest pricing technologies and methodologies.

  • Data Analysis​: Ability to use statistical tools and software for data analysis and interpretation.
  • Pricing Strategy​: Understanding and ability to develop and implement effective pricing strategies.
  • Market Insight​: Ability to analyze market trends and competitor dynamics.
  • Communication​​ and language skills: Ability to clearly communicate pricing strategies and outcomes to the team and management. Good command of English or other relevant languages if required for the work region.
  • Collaboration​: Ability to work effectively with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams.
  • Problem Solving​: Ability to identify and solve problems in the pricing process.
  • Technology Application​: Proficiency in using pricing and data software and tools.
  • Value-Based Pricing​: Understanding and ability to implement value-based pricing strategies.
  • Adaptability​: Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the market and technology.

Qualifications

  • Education​: Bachelor's degree or above in related fields such as marketing, engineering, finance, business administration, or data analytics.
  • Work Experience​: 5-8 years of experience in pricing management, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, BI tools, Python) and other pricing software
