Product Engineer

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

 

Take responsibility of Engineered to Order - ETO order design on MSG centrifugal product, including order design on schedule, technical support to product management, sales and service teams, design meet technology requirements and government codes, support on order assembly, project design cost control, and etc.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Review customer technical requirements and specs, to make sure with global team on design met requirements.
  2. Participate on project kick off meeting, and technical meeting with customers.
  3. Complete assigned design jobs by schedule, and work closely with global engineer team to deliver ETO order.
  4. Technical support on sales, application engineer, and product management teams.
  5. Technical assist on components localization, assembly in plant, and issues on customer field.
  6. Provide support to operation, sourcing, quality teams for product quality improvement;
  7. Comply with IR policy, disciplines, and standard work process.

 

Qualifications:

 

  1. Fluid& Chemical Mechanical Engineering bachelor or master degree.
  2. Have related experience of centrifugal compressor customer order design, understand compressor system.
  3. Related experience of manufacture/operation is preferred.
  4. Being familiar with industrial codes on Air Separation centrifugal compressor.
  5. Being familiar with Teamcenter/UG/CAD software, SAP ERP system.
  6. Good oral/writing/reading English, and communication skills.

 

 

Competence Requirement:

 

  • Understand and interpret customer requirements and industry codes on Air Separation centrifugal compressor.
  • Apply basic office software and computer systems, access, office, excel, PowerPoint, outlook, and etc.
  • Capability of handling of multi-tasks in limited schedule.
  • Good communication with other people both written and orally.
  • Proactive team player with cross functional teams.
