Responsibilities

 

  • Product Strategy and Portfolio Management:

You will contribute significantly to the development of product strategy, product ideas and product related content for realization of the product line's strategy planning, in detail you will:

  • Be responsible for developing product strategy for new products based on market/ competitors analysis and customer feedback for rotary compressor as well emerging technologies.
  • Capture product requirements with focus on AP region and shape the long term product roadmap in close collaboration with related other teams.
  • Define value proposition and competitive positioning for products.
  • Provide marketing inputs for key milestones during the product development process.
  • Develop market introduction plans to enable successful Go-to-Market activities and design-ins at key customers in close collaboration commercial teams.
  • Team up with our technical experts in Product Definition Engineering, System Architects, Application Marketing and Engineering.
  • Product pricing strategy.

 

  • Product Life Cycle Management:
  • Lead the end-to-end product strategy from ideation to end-of-life, optimizing performance, profitability, and market relevance across all stages.
  • Define & execute product life cycle strategies – including launch, growth, maturity, and phase-out plans, aligning with business objectives and market demands.
  • Monitor product performance – analyses sales, margin, and customer feedback data to identify life cycle stage transitions and recommend pricing, promotion, or feature adjustments.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination – collaborate with R&D, sales, supply chain, and customer support to ensure execution of life cycle actions (e.g., upgrades, discontinuations, inventory clearance).
  • Conduct competitive & market analysis – track industry trends, competitor portfolios, and regulatory changes to proactively recommend portfolio refreshes or rationalization.

 

 

  • Sales Enhancement:
  • Develop sales/Marketing tools & materials, e.g. calculator, ref. sheets, quote shell & positioning tools, etc.
  • Provide product technical consultancy and supports and quotation and price management on project job basis to sales team by fully understand the product applications, customer requirements and competitive product positioning.
  • Coordinate Non-std evaluation work with cross functional team from end-to-end.
  • Connect with Engineering/factory contacts to provide technical clarifications and quotes to sales team.
  • Co-visit customers with sales and provide necessary on-site support for customer seminar/technical clarification sessions.
  • Develop product training plans by assessing the sales product knowledge gaps.
  • Develop training documentations and materials (product, competitive streetfighters, process, etc) and deliver the training to sales and sometimes to key distributors when necessary.

 

  • Key Competencies
  • Master in Compressor/Energy/Power/Mechanical / Engineering / Automation /Chemical background. Knowledgeable in Compressor Technology Preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of product management in related industrial product. Proficient in applying systematic product management methodologies and lifecycle management frameworks.
  • Prior working experience in multi-national enterprises and cross-cultural collaboration.
  • Customer oriented, problem solving and solution mindset.
  • Strong communication skill and cross-functional collaboration capability. Energetic, passionate, driven, and strong interpersonal skills who works well in a collaborative team environment.
  • Outcome-driven mindset and excellent ability to work under pressure. Ability to work projects from start to finish – identifies opportunities and drive execution.
  • Keep proactive learning mindset, constantly explore cutting-edge technologies and track industry evolution.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English, communicate compelling.
