Senior Accountant

 

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing monthly financial statements for multiple sites, performing month-end close duties including journal entries, account analysis, reconciliations, and projects as necessary. This position may be based in Sheboygan, WI or Monroe, LA.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post standard and non-standard journal entries monthly
  • Analyze and reconcile bank statements and internal general ledger accounts
  • Perform month-end-close activities
  • Process and balance monthly all intercompany transactions and confirm with intercompany partners
  • Perform month end account reconciliations
  • Close fixed asset ledger and post depreciation
  • Maintain month end close checklists
  • Support Internal and External audit as needed

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, MPA, MBA, CPA or CMA, a plus
  • 5 Years Accounting experience
  • Strong Excel and any ERP skills, AX or D365 is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Highly analytical, organized, and detailed
  • Proven ability to work independently and within a team
  • FP&A experience, Power BI experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting processes
