Job Summary 

This role will have overall leadership responsibility for developing and executing the aftermarket strategy for the global Material Handling business required to enable high margin recurring revenue growth and achieve financial objectives established. The individual leads the Aftermarket business in terms of development of global aftermarket strategy, creation of product and service offering aligned with the overall strategy, technical support and commercial execution of the parts and service offerings to achieve targeted goals. The role will collaborate with commercial team, channel partners, authorized service distributors, direct end users, and factories/DLC’s for spare parts fulfillment. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Define Aftermarket strategy and execution, together with the team, to achieve the annual operating plan and other established financial targets. 

  • Develop aftermarket product and services offering in line with the business strategy.  Develop and execute parts, kits and accessory offerings (strategy, lifecycle, portfolio management). 

  • Leverage global services footprint through regional service centers (Singapore, Dallas and Douai, FR) to execute local support of global customers and channel partners. 

  • Analyze market dynamics and take actions for improvement in pricing, availability, and overall efficiency. Demand creation & planning for spare parts and services. 

  • Drive and develop the product positioning in the market. This includes owning the aftermarket product portfolio and roadmap. The person will also determine the strategic price levels and establish list pricing for parts, kits, and services (including training) Price strategy and management to achieve TLME. 

  • Lead the development of the value proposition for parts and accessories. In close collaboration with the sales teams you will communicate this value proposition to dealers and OEMs and develop sales tools that support the sales teams. 

  • Provide technical service support for channel partners and direct end users for aftersales. 

  • Manage a global comprehensive aftermarket team to achieve response rates and service levels expected of global customer base. 

  • Leverage global market, products, customer base to standardize and optimize customer experience. 

  • Define and execute services expansion with technician training, certification of service centers, factory overhauls, field repairs/retrofits, warranty. 

 

Basic Qualifications  

  • Minimum of 10 yrs of relative work experience 

  • Bachelor's Degree required in engineering, business management, or marketing 

  • Master’s Degree preferred 

  • Experience with pricing but also with growing revenue streams 

  • Aftermarket experience 

  • Excellent communication skills  

  • Fluent knowledge of French and English is essential, other languages are a plus 

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements 

  • Ability to travel up to 30%
