MICHOS S.A., a business of the Ingersoll Rand Group, with core business in the sales and after‑sales technical support of industrial equipment (air compressors, blowers, vacuum pumps, liquid pumps, etc.) in Greece and SE Europe, is seeking qualified Technicians to staff its Branch Workshop in Sindos Industrial Area, Thessaloniki.

We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with qualifications/experience, with factory training and know‑how across a broad technical scope and equipment applications spanning all industrial sectors as well as environmental and energy projects.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Proper commissioning of equipment and training of customer operators.
  • Repair and maintenance of air compressors, blowers, pumps, air‑operated pumps (AODD) and other E/M equipment within the workshop.
  • On‑site technical support at customer facilities and completion of service reports.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosis of malfunctions and preparation of technical reports to resolve and prevent faults and failures.
  • Compliance with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) safety rules and site instructions.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimun of 3 years’ prior experience in a workshop performing mechanical works.
  • Good command of English and of technical terminology.
  • Holder of a category B driving license.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate of a technical school or Institute/University (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation)
  • Previous experience in the maintenance of air compressors and pumps.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering and automation.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings with understanding of materials and spare‑parts lists/BOM.
  • Strong writing skills, customer‑centric mindset and organizational ability.
