We are recruiting a sales specialist with a strong hunter mentality and strategic mindset to map out opportunities in the region and the successful incumbent is accountable for the success of business development and sales efforts within Southeast Asia. He/She will focus on a selected target and potentially strategic clients in support of the Region and Business Line strategies.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop prospects from current commercial & industrial customers, referral leads, and other sources, and works closely with regional sales leaders.

  • Develop business plan with alignment to SEA strategies for market expansion, new customer and key account management/development.
  • Identify and win new customer opportunities by developing a strong pipeline and executing the opportunity.
  • Develop sales leads, focus on revenue growth to meet or exceed sales targets and achieve sustainable continuous growth.
  • Contacts prospective customers (focusing on Chemical Processing Industry) to present information on available services and solutions.
  • Expand relationship with EPC & consulting firms for projects.
  • Determine customer's requirements and prepare proposals to offer solutions with focus on optimization of compressed air system and energy savings.
  • Ensure the quality and safety of the solutions being provided.
  • Responsible for the profitability of each project, and run the solution centers as solutions providing profit center.
  • To develop business plans for new types of businesses and solutions.
  • Prepare forms or agreement to complete sale, and follow projects all the way through completion.
  • Participate in marketing activities.
  • Present in seminars.

 

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-7 years sales experience with good track record, preferably in the Chemical Process Industry or Engineered package solution.
  • Must be able to work under pressure & yet maintain a good level of service to both internal & external customers.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively across various levels with internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker, strong organizational, business writing and negotiation skills.
  • Travelling in the SEA region is required.
