Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the Material Handling business in South Asia and providing a high level of customer service support from identifying & handling enquiries to working with internal stakeholders to satisfy direct customers’ and distributors’ needs or requirements. 

 

This role also requires the incumbent to provide technical information on our products to customers and distributors as well as assisting them in determining purchasing decision and the related processes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the booking and sales revenue (Complete and Parts) of Material Handling in South Asia.
  • Responsible for sales & business development of Material Handling products.
  • Negotiate (within your authority limits) on behalf of the company all discount requests from customers & distributors while striving to maintain maximum profit margin. Discounts above authorized limits shall have to be approved by the management.
  • Assist Material Handling Channel Sales Engineer in preparation of proposals and presentations.
  • Provide products training to distributors and customers.
  • Provides timely monthly business reports to management regarding distributor’s sales, booking performance & etc.
  • Maintain accurate records of all distributor’s pricings, sales and activity reports submitted through quote log.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics code and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Any other roles & responsibilities as and when assigned by the reporting manager.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Regional channel sales experience with material handling products such as hoist and winches.

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Regional travelling within South Asia.
