Job Summary
We are recruiting a sales specialist with a strong hunter mentality and strategic mindset to map out opportunities in the region and the successful incumbent is accountable for the success of business development and sales efforts within Southeast Asia. He/She will focus on a selected target and potentially strategic clients in support of the Region and Business Line strategies.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop prospects from current commercial & industrial customers, referral leads, and other sources, and works closely with regional sales leaders.
  • Manage and develop channel partners in the region (SEA) to transform opportunities into orders.
  • Develop business plan with alignment to SEA strategies for market expansion, new customer, and key account management/development.
  • Understand market trends to identify new opportunities with action plan to capture market share and achieve sustainable growth by developing a strong pipeline.
  • Identify potential projects early and work closely with key stakeholders to improve win rate.
  • Develop sales leads, focus on revenue growth to meet, or exceed sales targets and achieve sustainable continuous growth.
  • Contacts prospective customers (focusing on General Industries / Petrochemical / Chemical Processing industries) to present information on available services and solutions.
  • Expand and maintain strong relationship with EPC & consulting firms, OEMs and End user.
  • To develop business plans for new types of businesses and solutions.
  • Prepare forms or agreement to complete sale and follow projects all the way through completion.
  • Participate in marketing activities.
  • Present in seminars.

 

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Min. 5-7 years sales experience with good track record, preferable in general industries (e.g., Semicon, F&B, medical centre, Petrochemical/Chemical process) or Engineered package solutions
  • Must be able to work under pressure & yet maintain a good level of service to both internal & external customers.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively across various levels with internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker, strong organizational, business writing and negotiation skills.
  • Travelling in the SEA region and Taiwan is required, up to 30-40%.
