Job Summary 

Reporting directly to the VP, Human Resources - Life Science Technologies, this position will provide high-quality HRBP leadership, coaching and support for the global commercial and engineering employees along with the EMEA sites  (including the BPS leadership team members). This position will work intimately with leaders in BPS to not only sustain but also amplify the business’ growth, both organically and through acquisitions. The focus will be on driving progress in key areas including Employee Engagement, Talent Development, Organizational Design, Compensation (Commercial Teams), M&A Integrations, and bolstering Organizational Effectiveness.  Partnering with other region/global HR leaders and leading a small team (1 HRG in Rossens), you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR solutions that cater to the needs of leaders, managers, and associates, fostering an environment of growth and continuous improvement. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Effectively partner with various BPS leaders to drive positive, business-impacting change, aligning human resources programs and initiatives with strategic objectives and annual operating plans. 
  • Hands on HR business partner balancing both strategic priorities and tactical elements of the day to day job.
  • Serve as a credible coach and confidante to these leadership teams, as well as a strong employee advocate.
  • Develop and execute HR plans, processes, and programs aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management / talent acquisition, goal alignment, employee engagement and communications.
  • Lead all aspects of the Talent Review Excellence (TRX) process for the BPS commercial and engineering teams along with the Hazel Grove and Rossens sites. 
  • Support M&A activities from due-diligence through integration. 
  • Foster positive employees relations across multiple facilities, and provide hands-on leadership for issue escalations.
  • Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition colleagues to attract, hire and onboard the best candidates as efficiently and effectively as possible.
  • Coach and advise on appropriate total rewards strategies, programs, and tools to enhance organizational performance and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with other HR colleagues on sharing best practices and increasing the development and use of HR standard work.
  • Drive and enable cultural transformation to support Ingersoll Rand’s DE&I strategic objective.

 

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required. Master’s degree (MBA, Master’s in HR, etc.) is preferred, but not required. 
  • Minimum of 8 years of increasing responsibility in a progressive HR environment – preferably a mix of manufacturing and commercial environments.
  • Minimum of 5 years as an HR Business Partner in a global environment. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in building talent, engaging teams, driving culture change and strategic growth of businesses and organizations. 
  • Demonstrated success in creating an environment of trust with business partners where integrity is unquestioned. 
  • Strong understanding of HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills. 

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

This position will be based in the UK with some travel to other European countries (~15%).
