Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated apprentice to join our Supply Chain and Production teams. This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience and develop key skills in sourcing, negotiating and working with Suppliers within the Supply Chain team and developing skills to create schedules, co-ordinate and plan all Production activities as part of the Production team. The candidate would work closely with the purchasing and production planning teams on site.  Onsite training will be provided by a team of experienced and skilled professionals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and procuring materials, products, and services in line with company requirements. 
  • Assist in managing supplier relationships, expediting and ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Work with various departments to understand and fulfil their purchasing needs. 
  • Learn and support procurement strategies that align with company goals for cost-efficiency and quality.
  • Perform other administrative tasks related to the purchasing and planning processes.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules through capacity planning and creating schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Support the tracking and monitoring of inventory levels and material requirements for production.
  • Assist with data entry and updating of production plans
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure seamless coordination
  • Support Continuous improvement activities related to the role 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Enrolment in or completion of a Business Administration apprenticeship

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Fully site based
