Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Global Engineering Director to lead and coordinate engineering teams across multiple regions. This role is responsible for driving technical excellence, ensuring alignment with global business goals, and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and manage distributed engineering teams across global locations.
- Develop and execute engineering strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Project & Program Management
- Oversee global engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Implement scalable processes and tools for global project tracking and reporting.
- Talent Development
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent.
- Promote a diverse and inclusive engineering culture.
- Conduct performance reviews and support career development initiatives.
- Technical Oversight
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering team.
- Ensure compliance with global standards, regulations, and security protocols.
- Drive innovation and adoption of emerging technologies.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a key liaison between engineering and executive leadership.
- Communicate technical strategies and project updates to stakeholders.
- Represent engineering in global forums and strategic planning sessions.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
- National and International travel expected 5-10% of the time.
- Flexibility to work with US based locations & time zones will be required.
Key Competencies
- Experience in a leadership role.
- Proven success managing global or distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and modern engineering practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience with budget management and strategic planning.
