Job Summary

The Application Manager will serve as the key technical interface between customers and internal teams, supporting product application development, project coordination, and successful project execution. This role will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to translate customer needs into practical solutions, enhance customer satisfaction, and support future business growth.

 

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical contact for customers during product development, project execution, and production launch.
  • Understand customer requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications and project deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Support new product introduction, product transfer, feasibility assessment, and technical customer reviews.
  • Identify project risks, drive timely problem solving, and ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Provide application-related technical support to improve customer satisfaction and project success.
  • Support business development activities by providing technical input for new opportunities and customer discussions.
  • Build and improve application management processes to support increasing project complexity and future business growth.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in application engineering, project management, product development, or customer-facing technical roles.
  • Experience in medical device, healthcare, precision manufacturing, silicone, rubber, or related industries is preferred.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Solid technical problem-solving capability with strong customer focus.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese, written and spoken.
