🖌 Job Summary 

As Buyer, you will execute daily material planning and replenishment for dedicated part numbers from fixed vendors in SAP MRP.  Your daily work will include close cooperation externally with our vendors including purchase order execution and communicating priorities between material numbers and purchase orders. You will also cooperate internally with production in addition to other supporting departments to assist in maintaining daily production to a high standard.  

 

 

📃 Responsibilities 

  • Strengthening the relationship and co-operation with given vendors to both production and aftermarket MRP areas  

  • Responsibility in updating materials master -parameters within area of responsibility  

  • Proactively participate in reporting duties to corporate  

  • Forecasting assigned components to vendors insuring that agreed lead times are followed  

  • Securing material availability in production  

 

 

 

🏆 Basic Qualifications 

  • A technical background with an B. Sc. or M.Sc. degree in relevant fields such as Logistics, Production and/or Supply Chain management  

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a field of Procurement, Logistics, Production and/or Supply Chain Management, working as a Buyer with an industrial background  

  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, and SAP MM & PP modules or similar  

  • Fluent communication skills in both Finnish and English is required
