🖌 Job Summary 

As Senior Buyer, you will execute daily material planning and replenishment for dedicated part numbers from fixed vendors in SAP MRP.  Your daily work will include close cooperation externally with our vendors including purchase order execution and communicating priorities between material numbers and purchase orders. You will lead our purchasing target setting and be part at our project groups to ensure material requirements and material feasibility against the given deadlines.  

 

📃 Responsibilities 

  • Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the KPI system to support business objectives

  • Updating materials master -parameters within area of responsibility  

  • Tracking supplier performance and work closely together to improve performance  

  • Forecasting assigned components to vendors insuring that agreed lead times are followed  

  • Securing material availability in production  

 

🏆 Basic Qualifications 

  • B. Sc. or M.Sc. in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field 

  • 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment 

  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, and SAP MM & PP modules or similar  

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills both in Finnish and English

  • Material planning based on SAP purchase requisitions and exception messages 

  • Understanding of financial principles, supply chain dynamics and how procurement impacts overall business performance  

  • Clear and effective communication across departments and with external partners; ability to build strong relationships and manage conflicts constructively
