Job Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis: Conduct market, customer and competitive landscape analysis, generate market and customer insights, unmet needs, etc.
- Opportunity Identification: Quantify growth opportunities that would allow IR to participate in markets that are growing faster and more profitably
- Product Plans: Define product strategy and product roadmap plans for the markets
- New Product Development: Work with regional Product managers and Engineering, Operations and Procurement team to execute new product development projects via NPD phase-gate programs.
- Product Launch and Commercialization: Lead the product launch of new, or product updates or line extensions and ensure that commercialization is success – all the volume, profitability and quality targets defined in the respective business cases are met or exceeded.
- Marketing and Demand Gen Plan Execution: Coordinate with the marketing and Demand Generation teams to develop and implement marketing strategy and plan (including pricing strategy, annual price changes, price plan executions, demand generation strategy and plans) for the new products and for the country/markets.
- In-line Product Management: Work with a cross-functional team to manage product life cycle activities (quality, delivery, feature and benefits upgrade, regulation compliance, i2V changes, etc.) and ensure right the products are delivered to meet country/market customer needs.
- Product Supports: Provide product technical consultancy and supports on project job basis to sales team by fully understand the product applications, customer requirements and competitive product positioning.
- Sales Trainings and Sales Tools Development: Develop annual product training plans by assessing the sales product knowledge gaps; develop sales tools & training documentations and materials (product, competitive streetfighters, process, etc.) and deliver the trainings to sales and sometimes to key distributors & channel partners when necessary
- Business Development: Develop detailed business development plans for business strategic initiatives with key programs, in conjunction with relevant functions that ensure timely, high quality, flawless execution for key initiatives. Monitor progress during the year, ensuring cross functional involvement and alignment, with “course correction” actions recommended as needed.
- Deliver Overall Business Goal: collaborate and execute with the country’s commercial team to deliver and meet the overall product and business goals in terms of growth, margin, market share etc.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ working experiences in Product management, Product support, Technical supports, Sales, Engineering, Industrial Digitalization, Aftermarket & Service Contracts
- Sound record in leading industrial companies
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing product strategy and growth plans.
- Education background
- Oversea study or top university (mother country) education background
- Major in: Mechanical, Electrical and Control, Industrial Automation, Process, HVAC, Business & Management, MBA, etc.
- Travel: 30-50% in the first year and travel may decrease after being immersed in the market
- Master of Languages: Local languages + English (mandatory), Mandarin (a plus)
