Job Summary
The Product Manager is responsible for developing the growth strategy for assigned products.In this role you will lead the development, innovation and market expansion of Ingersoll Rand compressed air refrigerant dryers. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and customer-driven innovation to optimize product performance, ensure market competitiveness, and drive growth.

 

Responsibilities
•    Market & Competitor Analysis: conduct detailed industry, market, and competitor analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs and translating market insights into product strategy.
•    Business Case Creation: develop comprehensive business cases for new product initiatives, focusing on ROI, financial impact, and strategic alignment to support data-driven decision-making.
•    Product Innovation & New Product Development: drive product innovation by identifying customer needs and market opportunities, ensuring successful new product development.
•    Project management: through the stage-gate approval process, managing cross-functional collaboration, risk assessment, and milestone execution to deliver high-quality, market-ready solutions. 
•    Product Strategy Roadmap: define a clear product roadmap and ensure its execution by coordinating cross-functional efforts. Regularly monitor progress, assess implementation effectiveness, and adjust strategies to align with evolving market and business requirements.
•    Product Positioning: define and optimize product positioning to ensure clear value propositions, differentiation strategies, market competitiveness.
•    Financial Performance: support P&L analysis, implement corrective actions, and drive cost optimization initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
•    Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee product lifecycle processes, including analytics, performance tracking, and strategic planning to drive growth.

 

Basic Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field required•    Fluent in English 
•    Excellent communication skills for engaging with global teams, stakeholders, and customers in an international business environment.

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
40% travel across EMEIA

•    5+ years of experience leading product development and project execution, managing lifecycles, and driving cross-functional collaboration.

•    Strong Business Acumen: Strong understanding of market dynamics, strategy, and value-driven decision-making to ensure profitability and competitive positioning.


•    Analytical & Financial Skills: Expertise in ROI analysis, pricing strategies, P&L management, and translating market insights into product strategy.


•    Team Collaboration & Independence: Proven ability to perform effectively as part of a team while also working independently to achieve shared objectives. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving results without direct supervision.


•    Passion & Excellence: Strong drive to be best in class, continuously striving for innovation, performance excellence, and industry leadership in product management.
