Project Engineer



Garo is the world leader in liquid ring technology and provides customized packages and solutions for the most demanding applications in the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical industries. We are looking for a Project Engineer that will report into our Engineering Manager and will be based in our Vignate (MI) site.


Main Responsibilities



  • Coordinator of the engineering activity of the assigned projects
  • Grant fulfilment of the contractual requirements.
  • First internal and external technical reference.
  • Identification of the project criticalities and driver for their resolution.
  • Participation to / lead project meetings with client including KoM, HAZOP, 3D model review.
  • Production of the engineering deliverables under his/her responsibility.
  • Technical evaluation and vendor follow-up of the items under his/her responsibility.



  • Strong engineering fundamentals on process and/or mechanical aspects
  • Ability to interface with other departments i.e. Procurement, Project Management, Quality and Construction as well as customers and vendors.
  • Master’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience as Project Engineer in the manufacturing industry (process packages suppliers), Mechanical/Machinery Leader in engineering companies or EPC contractors, in the Oil & Gas field.
  • Accustomed and available to short business trips.
  • Fluent in English.
