Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for increasing the sales of the ARO portfolio through all assigned Channel Distributors and Direct Key accounts (OEM, EPCs, and System Integrators.) and for delivering profitable growth for the ARO Business.

The ASM will use superior sales strategy techniques and channel management skills and a full understanding of selling skills to ensure that all focus market sectors are targeted and that sales of all ARO products are maximized.

 

Responsibilities

  • Sell and promote ARO Products, spares and aftermarket services in the assigned area
  • Management of existing sales channels within the assigned region to encompass the establishment of sales targets, submission of performance reviews, monthly sales reports, development of regional sales strategies and supervision of corrective action measures.
  • Tactically execute strategic plans to grow annual sales to meet company assigned goals while proactively promoting and supporting all sales activities within the region.
  • Establish annual sales growth targets for Channel Distributors and direct accounts in cooperation with the Sales Leader.
  • Provide technical product training & sales tools as required for all channel partners
  • Assign end-users visits objectives to Channel Partners to support their efforts in growing sales in the region.
  • Conduct sales calls with channel partners
  • Provide forecast on regular basis and meet agreed sales objectives for the region.
  • Increase Sales Funnel and maintain its accuracy in Salesforce.
  • Evaluate and suggest new business opportunities for sales growth in the assigned region

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years selling pumps and related process equipment.

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

•            Flexible. Willingness to travel 50% working time

 

Key Competencies

  • 5+ years of proven experience in sales with technical products to distributors and to end users
  • Relationship builders, based on individual’s credibility, integrity and knowledge
  • Demonstrated proven track record including sales to end-users through manufacturers’ reps and independent distributors.
  • Attitude and inclination to be well planned; working from the defined tactical goals and objectives supporting the strategic plans
  • Results oriented; able and motivated to both present benefits and close orders.
  • Always professional and responsible in appearance, actions and communications.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills. Comfortable delivering public presentations.
  • Proficient in computer related skills; Microsoft Office applications, CRM, ERP systems.
  • Fluent in English
  • Another foreign language is a plus
