About the Role 

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Content Enablement & Strategy Manager to join our dynamic Marketing Communications team. This role is pivotal in empowering the brands of Ingersoll Rand to create scalable, customer-centric, data-driven value content that resonates with our diverse customer segments. 

You will act as a strategic enabler, ensuring that content creation is aligned with business goals, supported by the right tools and infrastructure, and distributed effectively across digital channels to drive demand generation. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Content Strategy & Enablement 

  • Partner with BUs to co-develop scalable content strategies tailored to key customer segments. 

  • Translate customer insights and data into actionable content frameworks and messaging guidelines. 

  • Establish and maintain a content playbook to ensure consistency and scalability across brands. 

  • Customer-Centric Content Development 

  • Guide BUs in creating value-driven content that addresses customer pain points and decision journeys. 

  • Promote the use of personas, journey mapping, and segmentation in content planning. 

  • Data-Driven Optimization 

  • Define KPIs and measurement frameworks to assess content performance. 

  • Leverage analytics to continuously optimize content strategies and formats. 

  • Technology & Infrastructure 

  • Act as a liaison between MarCom and Web/Analytics to ensure the right tools (DAM, translation and transcreation tools, etc) are in place and effectively used. 

  • Support the implementation and adoption of content enablement platforms and automation tools. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across BUs. 

  • Lead training sessions and workshops to upskill teams in content strategy and digital distribution. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. 

  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or marketing enablement, preferably in a B2B or industrial environment. 

  • Proven ability to translate complex business needs into scalable content strategies. 

  • Strong understanding of digital channels, content performance metrics, and marketing technologies. 

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Experience with CMS, DAM, marketing automation, and analytics tools is a plus.
