Job Summary 

Join the Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) team within our Center of Excellence (CoE) as a Global Webmaster, a pivotal role shaping the structure, governance, and performance of our global websites. You’ll be the strategic anchor for operational consistency across high-impact websites, ensuring they meet enterprise standards while empowering regional teams to focus on content and marketing 

The Globa Website Master does will be responsible for organic website KPI´s not marketing related, as well as enforcing digital governance, feature rollout standards, and ensuring design system adoption (UX/UI best practices) across sites.  

The Website Master acts as a guardian of standards, compliance, and platform quality, supporting regions and business units (BUs) while avoiding operational overlaps with local content teams.  

 

Governance & Compliance 

  • Enforce digital standards, guardrails, and governance frameworks as defined by DXP and the CoE. 

  • Ensure design system implementation (including UX/UI best practices) in collaboration with central design and platform teams. 

  • Govern feature rollouts to ensure consistent, compliant, and scalable adoption across websites. 

  • Act as the gatekeeper for structural and configuration-related updates (not content). 

 

Platform Configuration & Structure 

  • Maintain and govern taxonomies (without implementing content). 

  • Configure and oversee content models, user roles, permissions, and language selectors. 

  • Support standardized ticketing system usage across websites. 

 

Collaboration  

  • Act as a liaison between CoE and BU/regional website stakeholders, ensuring compliance without taking ownership of content delivery. 

  • When regional disputes occur, work with leadership level — not between individual Website Masters and regional leaders. 

  • Work closely with Operational Excellence within DXP to ensure continuous improvements in processes and tooling. 

 

Quality Assurance & Monitoring 

  • Validate that websites adhere to governance standards and structural integrity. 

  • Support quality assurance activities for platform updates, feature rollouts, and design system implementation. 

  • Monitor website metrics for governance adherence, not marketing performance (no KPI ownership). 

 

Core Competencies 

  • Strong governance and compliance mindset with ability to balance global standards and regional needs. 

  • Proven experience with CMS platforms and digital governance. 

  • Ability to manage web operations at scale without content editing responsibilities. 

  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, especially in matrixed organizations. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in structured digital governance environments (CoE or shared service). 

  • Knowledge of content modeling, taxonomies, and multi-language digital platforms. 

  • Familiarity with translation workflows and regional/global alignment challenges. 

  • Experience implementing design systems and UX/UI standards in enterprise environments.
