The Plant Manager will plan, organize, staff and direct all activities of the facility to achieve Plant and Business Unit goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, Customer satisfaction, Profitability, and Employee Engagement. The Plant Manager will successfully drive the Lean Transformation of the plant to eliminate waste and is ultimately responsible for the production and plant operations to ensure the effective utilization of resources, while driving Diverse, Inclusive and Equitable work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Drive Zero harm culture by implementing EHS standard work, Behavioral Based Safety program, and Sustainability transformation to support Ingersoll Rand’s 2030 & 2050 long term goals. Ensure full compliance with Company and Country Safety/Environmental Regulations
• Responsible for the overall Integrated Supply Chain (Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Materials Management, and EHS) to drive revenue, margin, growth and order backlog execution
• Achieve plant’s Quality, Cost, Delivery, Inventory, and Employee Engagement goals by optimizing processes and utilizing Lean/Operational Excellence tools
• Manage the plant Capex budget and implement capital improvement projects to drive plant’s long-term technology plan in alignment with regional Operations vision
• Drive the Operational Excellence Transformation through the effective use of Standard work, Visual management, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 9-Step Problem Solving and other Lean tools to identify and eliminate waste and improve the value proposition to customers
• Engage in local/regional/global Footprint and Strategic projects to increase Asset Utilization and Footprint efficiency of the business
• Build development and succession plans to enhance organizational capabilities and competencies of the teams. Continue the journey of creating a Diverse, Inclusive, and Equitable work force
• Communicate frequently and effectively to different stakeholders throughout the organization in a complex matrix environment

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required
• MBA is preferred
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in operations management, preferably in similar industrial products
• A minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing/plant operations leadership role
• Previous experience in Lean Transformation, Supply Chain Management, and Quality required
• Experience in Industrial relations and Unions
• Solid understanding of Plant Financials
• Digital innovation and Industry 4.0
• APICS Certification is preferred
