Position Summary

The Project Manager ETO is responsable for the successful execution of engineered blower systems and customized process packages from order handover through customer acceptance, commissioning support, and project close-out. The role is the primary interface between the customer and Hibon's multidisciplinary project team and ensures delivery in accordance with contractual, technical, quality, safety, schedule, cash, and profitability commitments.

The Project Manager leads complex international projects for applications including industrial processing, wastewater, biogas, pneumatic conveying, petrochemical, energy, and nuclear markets.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the full lifecycle execution of assigned ETO projects from sales handover and contract review through final documentation, delivery, commissioning support, customer acceptance, and close-out.
• Establish and maintain the project execution plan, schedule, milestones, budget, cash profile, risk register, communication plan, and reporting cadence.
• Act as the primary customer contact and lead kick-off meetings, progress reviews, technical and commercial coordination, and escalation management.
• Coordinate Engineering, Project Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Documentation, Finance, Logistics, and Service activities.
• Ensure contractual requirements, customer specifications, approved deviations, applicable codes, documentation obligations, and inspection requirements are understood and fulfilled.
• Monitor project cost, gross margin, revenue, cash collection, and forecast accuracy; initiate recovery actions when performance deviates from plan.
• Identify technical, commercial, quality, supply-chain, and schedule risks early and implement mitigation and contingency actions.
• Manage scope changes, variation orders, claims, and customer-driven changes to protect schedule, cash, and project profitability.
• Coordinate supplier and subcontractor execution against cost, quality, documentation, and delivery commitments.
• Plan and support design reviews, customer approvals, inspections, factory acceptance testing, shipment, site activities, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with Hibon and Ingersoll Rand policies, EHS requirements, quality processes, ethical standards, and project governance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 
• Typically 5–10 years of project management experience in engineered industrial equipment, rotating equipment, blowers, compressors, vacuum systems, packaged systems, or an EPC environment. 
• Demonstrated experience executing Engineer-to-Order projects with international customers and multidisciplinary teams. 
• Working knowledge of contracts, technical specifications, P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, bills of material, inspection and test plans, and project documentation. 
• Commercial and financial capability in project budgeting, margin management, forecasting, cash collection, change orders, risk, and claims. 
• Proficiency with ERP, scheduling, and standard Microsoft Office tools; formal project management certification is preferred. 
• Fluent English required; French is strongly preferred. Additional languages are advantageous. 
• Willingness to travel internationally as required by project needs
• Knowledge about the nuclear industry

Key Competencies

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of ETO projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, margin and timeline requirements with efficient utilization of available resources.
• Responsible for directing Project Engineering’s interpretation and translation of customer project specifications into package engineering, design and component selection.
• Develop and implement project management methodologies and best practices.
• Lead and manage the Project Engineering and Project Management teams.
• Accountable for all engineered systems policies and procedures
• Liaise with Customers, Departmental Colleagues, Service, Production, Financial Department, as necessary to coordinate activities, ensure customer satisfaction and maximize return on assets
• Cost responsibility for the managed cost centers
• Maintain visualization meetings for Core and Major Projects.
• Prepare WG -  PIT and POC Revenue forecast with support of Operations and Finance leaders
• Connect with operation leader to review and discuss prioritization of the ETO.
