Job Summary: 

Achieve specified sales targets for VPS (Vacuum Pressure Solutions) in CHAT+ region (Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia), lead CHAT+ field and office sales force and independently manage a sub-region or segment as appropriate. The position is based remote in Vienna - Austria or South-East Germany.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Implementation of corporate targets (sales targets, networking capital, P&L, budget, market exploitation)
  • Professional and disciplinary management and support of the field and office sales teams
  • Strategy development for business expansion/market recovery
  • Market exploitation based on "Make life better" plan for standard and system business
  • Development and expansion of the aftermarket segment
  • Customer support/visits, product and application consulting
  • Sales negotiations incl. technical and commercial contract review
  • Execute price releases according to guidelines
  • Observing the competition and initiating marketing campaigns
  • Planning and participation of sales meetings, impact daily management meetings, weekly meetings
  • Participate in trade shows
  • Initiate training activities
  • Coordinate internal interfaces

 

Qualifications and Key Competencies: 

  • You have ideally successfully completed a technical degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or comparable)
  • You have several years of professional experience in the field service of a manufacturing company, ideally in industrial engineering or another technically innovative environment
  • You have the ability to control your tasks independently and to align them economically by using key performance indicators
  • You convince with an independent and goal-oriented way of working as well as convincing and competent communication
  • You have the ability to work in a team and are characterized by a high level of self-motivation
  • You are strong in closing deals and have excellent negotiating skills
  • You are fluent in German and have good communication skills in English
  • You are very confident in using the common Microsoft Office applications as well as SAP and Sales Force
  • You have the customer in focus and bring along a high engagement and willingness to travel
