Within the Gardner Denver Transport Solutions department, we develop and assemble the most ingenious installations for trucks and trailers to unload liquid and dry bulk goods as efficiently and quickly as possible. We are seeking an Internal Sales Engineer to join the "Gardner Denver Transport Solutions" business units, a role that is ideal for those with a keen interest in technical-commercial challenges. As a full-time Internal Sales Engineer, your main responsibilities will include the preparation of detailed quotes and system calculations, as well as diligent follow-up on the quotations provided. You will serve as a knowledgeable resource, addressing a wide range of technical and commercial queries from customers and colleagues both within our domestic market and on an international scale.
The successful candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent professional experience that demonstrates a strong capability in a similar role. While some prior experience as a Sales Engineer is beneficial, we place a high value on enthusiasm, a customer-oriented mindset, and a proactive approach to work.
This position is suited for someone who is naturally customer-friendly, possesses a "hands-on" work style, and is eager to engage with the technical aspects of sales within a dynamic and supportive team environment. Responsibilities

  • Calculate and offer complete compressor/pump installations.
  • Basic hydraulics calculations.
  • Work/project preparation. 
  • Technical advice to customers.
  • Spare parts Sales.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Service and customer-oriented. 
  • Technical-commercial experience in a B2B environment. 
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • "Hands-on" mentality.
  • Creative and perseverance.

 

Key Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 
  • Good command of both Dutch and English language.
